Whats the average price of updating the electric in our 1600 sq ft home?

shoupdc asked:

We aren’t doing a complete remodel so the walls are still intact. We also have the fabricated paneling (not the real stuff) so it can be taken down fairly easily and then put back up.

There are too many variables – what you have vs. what you want – to give you a sensible answer on Y!A. Call in 3 electricians and ask them for estimates. Most don’t charge for estimates.

like rottie mom said there are a lot of variables im an electrician in oklahoma and weve done rewires from 3 to 8 dollars a square ft which is all relative to what we had to do. Of course the easiest are the gutted houses.
