I just learned this the hard way. 1. Home Improvements are NOt tax deductable. 2. If you bought energy efficiant products, they MUST be installed by the energy company or certain other "approved" technicians in order for them to be a write off. You made a good investment as these items will save you money, BUT, they are not a write off. NO. I just learned this the hard way.
